Women at Mantle: Transforming the Web3 Landscape

In anticipation of International Women’s Day, female employees at Mantle shared their experiences in the Web3 space and their perspectives on the industry’s evolution with ForkLog.

Margarita Kadochnikova, head of marketing for Mantle in the CIS, believes that building a strong community is a key factor in the company’s growth. With over six years of experience in the crypto industry, she aids Mantle in strengthening its regional presence.

“Mantle is an innovative company with ambitious goals that is changing the industry. I believe in its potential to create cutting-edge solutions shaping the future of Web3,” notes Margarita.

Joella (speicherx), head of marketing strategy for the liquid staking and restaking protocol mETH Protocol, focuses on educational initiatives that promote the widespread adoption of Ethereum.

“mETH Protocol is Ethereum. The goal? ETH-based yield opportunities that are not only efficient but sustainable and secure for everyone, not just ‘crypto Twitter’,” she stated.

Jess, responsible for the development of the mETH Protocol ecosystem, previously worked at Chainlink and Fireblocks. She believes that the more women enter Web3, the more inclusive and sustainable the industry becomes.

“I hope to see more women playing key roles in the development of Web3. This is important not only for equality but also for the future of financial technologies,” says Jess.

Zoe manages the institutional adoption of mETH Protocol and its integration with major industry players. Before joining Web3, she worked in consulting and corporate development at Bybit.

“In 2024, mETH Protocol ranked fourth among Ethereum liquid staking protocols with a TVL exceeding $1.6 billion, while cmETH was fifth among restaking solutions. Growth was largely driven by successful campaigns. With support from Mantle Treasury, the project team ensured double earnings for Ethereum staking in the Double Dose campaign, as well as over 2 million EIGEN tokens as rewards,” notes Zoe.

Gemma, Mantle’s marketing lead in Korea, worked as a nurse before entering Web3. She notes that despite the significant difference between professions, they share a common principle — constant monitoring of indicators.

“In medicine, I monitored patients’ vital signs, and in Web3, it’s important to track market dynamics. I share important stories to guide and support our team and users on the way forward, much like nurses help patients recover,” says Gemma.

Hannah is the head of culture and social projects at Mantle. She is developing Another Art — a new art initiative created to support and collaborate with artists.

“My main goal is to bring creative people closer to the on-chain world to jointly shape a new internet space,” comments Hannah.

Earlier in 2025, Mantle introduced the concept of a financial blockchain hub based on the modular L2 solution Mantle Network, the liquid staking and restaking protocol mETH Protocol, and the omnichain asset Ignition FBTC.
