This increased efficiency and throughput compared to full data verification.

The Block noted that L2 projects Manta Pacific, Evo, and ZKFair have already used Celestia DA for developing validiums—scalable solutions combining ZKP proofs and DA. Polygon and Arbitrum have also integrated Celestia into their SDK for the L2 layer.

In December 2023, the Starknet Foundation, responsible for StarkNet’s development, announced the allocation of 1.8 billion STRK for various initiatives, including network discounts for users.

In the same month, the project team confirmed rumors of an upcoming asset airdrop. It was reported that 50 million STRK would be distributed among early users. Previously, developers postponed the first token unlock to April 2024.

In January, the StarkNet community approved the deployment of the Alpha v0.13.0 update on the mainnet.
