His counterpart, demonstrating the platform\u2019s mobile app, assured him it was a \u201csafe and easy way to get into crypto.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think so, and I\u2019m never wrong about these things. Never,\u201d David\u2019s character replied.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The ad concluded with the slogan: \u201cDon\u2019t be like Larry, don\u2019t miss out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The advertisement cost $6.5 million for 30 seconds. The exchange\u2019s commercial lasted 2.5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the crypto industry was shaken by a series of collapses and bankruptcies, the largest being the collapse of FTX in November.
