(@Starknet) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Starknet\/status\/1755615017335193783?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 8, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/276725\/herodotus-starkware-starknet\">The Block<\/a>, Herodotus co-founder Kasper Koziol stated that the system will be launched in the &#8220;coming weeks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Cairo Verifier will allow developers to perform verifiable computations using zk-STARK on StarkNet to ensure the security of <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span> on L3.<\/p>\n<p>The mechanism does not engage the Ethereum mainnet and helps reduce delays and verification costs. <\/p>\n<p>According to the team, the implementation of this initiative lays the groundwork for the development of the third-level solution ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, validation in StarkNet involves the SHARP prover and verifier, which sends cryptographic proofs to the Ethereum mainnet for verification. The Cairo Verifier extends the application of zk-STARK to L3 networks.<\/p>\n<p>In January, StarkNet and Celestia developers agreed to collaborate to enhance data availability in the third-level solution ecosystem. The agreement involves using a modular blockchain for autonomous scaling to minimize transaction costs.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the StarkNet community <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/starknet-community-approves-strk-token-fee-payments\">approved<\/a> the deployment of the Alpha v0.13.0 update on the mainnet.
