Users can check their eligibility for the airdrop on the <a href=\"https:\/\/provisions.starknet.io\/\">Starknet Provisions<\/a> program page.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Applications for tokens can be submitted over four months. Unclaimed STRK will return to the distribution pool.<\/p>\n<p>The announced airdrop is the first round of the Starknet Provisions initiative, which allocates 900 million STRK. In total, 1.8 billion tokens (18% of the issuance) are planned for community needs.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the token distribution aims to reward early StarkNet users, early community members, and developers, including the entire Ethereum ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>The necessary criteria for users include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>more than five transactions in the network before November 15, 2023, with a total volume of at least $100;<\/li>\n<li>online activity for at least three months;<\/li>\n<li>a balance of 0.005 ETH or more as of the above date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Community members were selected for the airdrop under the Starknet Early Community Member Program.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_RJbzhLHvF39NF23gOm5bTw.webp\" alt=\"1_RJbzhLHvF39NF23gOm5bTw\" class=\"wp-image-226032\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Token distribution in the first round of Starknet Provisions. Data: Starknet Foundation.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In January, the StarkNet team <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/starknet-community-approves-strk-token-fee-payments\">deployed the Alpha v0.13.0 update<\/a>, enabling transaction fee payments with its own tokens alongside ETH.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFuture plans for distributing STRK among the community include discounts and initiatives from various special committees dedicated to DeFi, gaming, and more.
