We see growing demand from our clients for staking services,\u201d<\/em> commented the organization&#8217;s marketing director Victor Busson to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2024\/02\/14\/crypto-custodian-taurus-enlists-lido-to-bring-liquid-ethereum-staking-to-swiss-banks\/\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The publication noted that regulatory uncertainty had previously hindered such collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the startup&#8217;s product department, Vasily Lavrov, anticipates that similar staking guidance will follow in the EU after FINMA&#8217;s lead.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2024, Taurus <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/alameda-withdraws-lawsuit-against-grayscale-kraken-appointments-and-other-crypto-industry-developments\">received<\/a> FINMA approval to launch the TDX platform for tokenized securities and digital assets, focusing on retail clients.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2023, the startup raised $65 million in a Series B funding round led by Credit Suisse.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, FalconX&#8217;s head of research, David Lowant, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-staking-demand-hits-four-month-high\">explained<\/a> the increased interest in Ethereum staking as optimism grows regarding the potential for Ethereum ETF issuers to allocate some coins to these services if the product is approved.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for launching a spot exchange-traded fund based on the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization have been submitted by Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-delays-decision-on-blackrocks-spot-ethereum-etf\">BlackRock<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-postpones-decision-on-invesco-and-galaxys-spot-ethereum-etf\"> Invesco with Galaxy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some experts <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/standard-chartered-predicts-sec-approval-of-spot-ethereum-etf-in-may\">believe<\/a> that the regulator will approve the products in May.
