The technology aims to eliminate &#8220;critical limitations&#8221; inherent in current rollup architectures.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With the mainnet launch scheduled for the third quarter, Fuel will introduce a virtual machine focused on parallel transaction execution. This approach is intended to enhance the system&#8217;s scalability.<\/p>\n<p>The project employs &#8220;state minimization methods&#8221; designed to reduce the data volumes accumulated by nodes. This should also positively impact network performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Developers believe these approaches will enable effective scaling of Fuel rollups with minimal operational costs and without compromising security.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>&#8220;As rollups mature, it becomes clear that an operating environment optimized for their unique requirements is the next indisputable step. Fuel represents this evolution: Rollup OS eliminates critical bottlenecks, ensuring the future of rollup technology and the Ethereum ecosystem,&#8221; noted CEO and co-founder Nick Dodson.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fuel was launched in 2020 as an L2 based on Optimistic Rollups.
