Out of an abundance of caution, it\u2019s best not to deposit new funds into AMM pools for\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RippleX (@RippleXDev) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RippleXDev\/status\/1771680918895558913?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 23, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFor safety reasons, it is advisable not to deposit new funds into AMM pools for now, and holders of <span data-descr=\"liquidity pool\" class=\"old_tooltip\">LP<\/span> tokens should consider redeeming them,\u201d platform representatives warned.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Developers later explained that the error affected the \u201cpayment system of <span data-descr=\"decentralized exchanges\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DEX<\/span>, misallocating liquidity among pools and order books in complex scenarios.\u201d The XRPL blockchain team is working on a solution.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ripple&#8217;s CTO David Schwartz, the issue \u201cis not caused by the one-sided deposit feature, which is a planned part of the AMM design.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOne-sided deposits enhance user experience but can affect prices when liquidity is low in pools. Users should check quotes in their tools before sending transactions, and interface applications should display this information,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On March 22, the Ripple team announced the successful integration of XLS-30 AMM into XRPL.
