According to the roadmap, the chosen ecosystem provides &#8220;necessary scalability, low transaction costs, and fast transaction processing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Later, the asset will expand to all EVM networks connected to Wormhole. For secure cross-chain transitions, developers will use <a href=\"https:\/\/wormhole.com\/native-token-transfers\/?ref=wormhole.ghost.io\">Wormhole Native Token Transfers<\/a> (NTT) \u2014 an open-source platform for transferring tokens between blockchains without liquidity pools.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Using NTT, projects have full control over how their digital assets behave on each blockchain, including token standards, metadata, ownership\/upgradability, and custom features. Thanks to NTT, teams also maintain detailed control over security, including rate limiting, pausing, access control, and balance accounting,&#8221; explained Wormhole.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>W holders will be able to lock and delegate their tokens to participate in voting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Wormhole decentralized autonomous organization, which will include token holders, will function as &#8220;the industry&#8217;s first multichain governance system,&#8221; available on Solana and EVM networks, including L2 solutions as they are integrated in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The goal of this approach is to maximize DAO participation by providing a seamless user interface for token holders distributed across multiple different blockchains,&#8221; emphasized protocol representatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Distribution and Listing<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On April 3 at 14:30 (MSK\/Kyiv), Wormhole will open W token claims for airdrop participants.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Reminder for this Week&#8217;s Wormhole Wednesday<\/p>\n<p>W claims go live @ 11:30AM UTC on 3-April<\/p>\n<p>W <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q020pA5MkO\">pic.twitter.com\/q020pA5MkO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Wormhole (@wormhole) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wormhole\/status\/1775259407947034630?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 2, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>About 400,000 wallets are eligible for the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wormhole-announces-token-w-airdrop\">February-announced<\/a> distribution, which will <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wormhole-distributes-617-million-w-tokens-in-airdrop\">receive 617.3 million W<\/a>. The initial market offering across various networks will total 1.8 billion coins.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Wormhole&#8217;s tokenomics, 17% of tokens will be distributed to the community, 12% will go to developers, 31% will support projects within the ecosystem, and 23.3% will be allocated to the treasury.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, several centralized exchanges have announced the listing of the asset. Among them: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/binance-will-list-wormhole-w-with-seed-tag-applied-49b5a226723e407cb7044d749bfda5b2\">Binance<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/krakenpro\/status\/1775201510520914305\">Kraken<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bitget.com\/support\/articles\/12560603807494\">Bitget<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.okx.com\/help\/okx-to-list-wormhole-w-for-spot-trading\">OKX<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Backpack\/status\/1773531339557376165\">Backpack<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gate.io\/ru\/article\/35565\/gate.io-will-list-wormhole-w\">Gate.io<\/a>.
