For instance, if a patient comes in for an annual breast cancer screening, the platform can detect current issues, compare the image with previous results, and summarize the data.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>\u201cThe entire technological process is designed to enable radiologists to complete their tasks more quickly. With AI, they can review more images and serve more patients,\u201d Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/04\/09\/google-partners-with-bayer-on-new-ai-product-for-radiologists.html\">CNBC<\/a>.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to him, the platform does not replace doctors but serves as an auxiliary tool, akin to a microscope.<\/p>\n<p>Google Cloud has been collaborating with Bayer on the radiology platform for about five years.
