{"id":13078,"date":"2024-04-30T14:39:52","date_gmt":"2024-04-30T11:39:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ukraine-and-germany-forge-partnership-for-cryptocurrency-oversight\/"},"modified":"2024-04-30T14:39:52","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T11:39:52","slug":"ukraine-and-germany-forge-partnership-for-cryptocurrency-oversight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ukraine-and-germany-forge-partnership-for-cryptocurrency-oversight\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine and Germany Forge Partnership for Cryptocurrency Oversight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-descr=\"National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine\" class=\"old_tooltip\">NSSMC<\/span> and <span data-descr=\"Federal Financial Supervisory Authority of Germany\" class=\"old_tooltip\">BaFin<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssmc.gov.ua\/posylennia-mizhnarodnoi-spivpratsi-nktspfr-ta-bafin-pidpysaly-memorandum\/\">have signed a memorandum<\/a> to provide mutual assistance in financial sector investigations and exchange relevant information.<\/p>\n<p>The priority areas include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>financial reporting requirements;<\/li>\n<li>alternative funds;<\/li>\n<li>non-state pension funds;<\/li>\n<li>fraud prevention;<\/li>\n<li>oversight of virtual assets;<\/li>\n<li>construction financing and investment funds in the construction sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The National Commission described this partnership as &#8220;another step towards the development of the Ukrainian capital market.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the NSSMC, in collaboration with the National Bank, has been developing an updated version of legislation for regulating the cryptocurrency market in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The International Monetary Fund has postponed the preparation of this document <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/imf-delays-new-cryptocurrency-regulation-in-ukraine\">to the end of 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The development of cryptocurrency market regulation is part of Ukraine&#8217;s National Revenue Strategy for 2024-2030 and included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-market-regulation-in-ukraine-included-in-e50-billion-reform-plan\">\u20ac50 billion reform plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NSSMC and BaFin have signed a memorandum to provide mutual assistance in financial sector investigations and exchange relevant information.
