It is followed by Kamino, Raydium, and Marginfi with $1 billion, $613 million, and $430 million, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the liquid staking market, Jito ranks fifth with a 3% share of the total <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocols\/Liquid%20Staking\">$45.7 billion<\/a>. Lido remains the leader in this segment.<\/p>\n<p>About 40% of JitoSOL LST tokens are used as collateral in DeFi, a protocol representative told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/292146\/jito-network-largest-defi-protocol-solana-tvl\">The Block<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dune.com\/ilemi\/jitosol\">Dune<\/a> dashboard, the protocol has over 91,000 validators. Data: Dune.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On May 1, journalists from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2024\/05\/01\/restaking-gold-rush-spreads-to-solana-from-ethereum-with-jito-and-others-joining-in\/\">CoinDesk<\/a> reported, citing sources, that Jito also plans to develop a restaking protocol.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThere is a lot of hype around [restaking] right now. It&#8217;s like a gold rush,\u201d noted Jito Labs CEO Lucas Bruder, declining to comment on the company&#8217;s plans.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Amid the rise in the protocol&#8217;s TVL, the native token JTO surged 9% in a day to $3.56.
