However, several assumptions can be made:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The fund has financed (albeit jointly) many industry heavyweights like Bakkt, Bitso, and Alchemy, which have previously raised between $250 million and $300 million;<\/li>\n<li>A similar amount was planned by the fund to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/pantera-capital-to-invest-250-million-in-solana-from-ftx\">acquire<\/a> Solana (SOL) from FTX;<\/li>\n<li>Pantera recently <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/pantera-capital-seeks-1-billion-for-new-crypto-fund\">announced<\/a> raising $1 billion for a new structure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dan Morehead, CEO of Pantera Capital, mentioned having recently dined with Pavel Durov and being &#8220;captivated by the purity of his convictions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The investment giant explained its decision to invest in TON by the project&#8217;s potential to become one of the largest crypto networks.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Thanks to its dynamic sharding mechanism, the TON blockchain can process millions of transactions per second and scale efficiently as the number of users grows,&#8221; stated a letter from Pantera Capital&#8217;s executives.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They also highlighted Telegram&#8217;s enormous potential for mass cryptocurrency adoption, pointing to the popularity of internal mini-apps like <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/notcoin-schedules-token-listing-to-coincide-with-bitcoin-halving\">Notcoin<\/a>, new <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/telegram-to-reward-content-creators-with-toncoin\">earning methods<\/a>, and USDT stablecoin payments <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/telegrams-wallet-introduces-usdt-transactions-on-ton\">based on TON<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In early May, Pantera Capital&#8217;s investment in TON came to light.
