He cited examples such as:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>token transfers;<\/li>\n<li>interaction with ENS;<\/li>\n<li>key changes in wallet smart contracts (both personal and organizational).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The same applies to basic security, the use of light clients, and proof systems for rollups, Buterin believes.<\/p>\n<p>He is convinced that the proposed unified layer for cross-chain interaction of L2 protocols should be built at a fundamental level and replace all existing solutions (such as Optimism&#8217;s Superchain).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">> Does it complement the solutions different L2 ecosystems\u2026 (e.g Superchain), or does it replace them entirely?<\/p>\n<p>Replace entirely.
