This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2024\/05\/31\/japanese-crypto-exchange-dmm-bitcoin-suffers-305m-hack\/\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoin.dmm.com\/news\/20240531_01\">confirmed<\/a> the attack and stated that measures have been taken to prevent further unauthorized withdrawals. A few months after the incident, the exchange was acquired by online broker Monex.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2024, the cryptocurrency exchange FixedFloat suffered its second attack of the year.
