Politicians argue that illegal enterprises steal electricity, leading to supply disruptions for the population.<\/p>\n<p>An expert estimated the country&#8217;s economy could face annual losses of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paraguay-faces-potential-200-million-loss-from-proposed-mining-ban\">more than $200 million<\/a> if the proposed bill is passed.
