With digital counterparts, you don\u2019t have that luxury [\u2026], and to me, that\u2019s okay,\u201d<\/em> commented Horn.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The top executive explained that it is essential to \u201crecognize the potential of this technology and position it accordingly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Fidelity strategist explained that a small allocation of funds\u2014within the range of 1\u20135%\u2014would be small enough to minimize risk if Bitcoin were to fall to zero. At the same time, this portion would be large enough to capture any increase in its value and provide a hedge against inflation, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Back in March, <span data-descr=\"Chief Investment Officer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CIO<\/span> of Bitwise Matt Hougan stated that several asset managers had already allocated <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-predicts-bitcoin-allocation-in-portfolios-to-reach-3\">3% of client funds<\/a> to invest in the leading cryptocurrency, with many more ready to do so soon.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, K33 calculated that by the end of the first quarter, 937 institutions had invested <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/institutional-interest-937-firms-invest-11-billion-in-bitcoin-etfs-in-q1\">$11.06 billion<\/a> in shares of spot BTC-ETFs in the US.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most market participants should hold positions in Bitcoin, regardless of their beliefs, according to Matt Horn, head of digital asset strategies at Fidelity Investments, speaking on CNBC.
