For its Telegram channel, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/fragment.com\/username\/tbank\">purchased<\/a> the corresponding username on the Fragment platform.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction took place in April, with @tbank acquired for 20,000 TON (approximately $105,000 at the time of the transaction).<\/p>\n<p>The previous owner had paid 104 TON for this username.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the T-Bank Telegram channel boasts 289,570 subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>The company plans a gradual brand update. Initially, this will affect the website and app, followed by all legal names, card and ATM designs, and envelope branding.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, ForkLog reported that the Telegram username @dodopizza was put up for sale for 155,555 TON, while representatives of the namesake pizzeria chain filed a lawsuit against the messenger in an attempt to secure ownership of the lot.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside 35 other Russian banks, Tinkoff is under US sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>On March 28, the Bank of Russia granted the company a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tinkoff-secures-license-for-digital-financial-assets-issuance\">license for the issuance of <span data-descr=\"digital financial assets\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DFAs<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tinkoff Bank has rebranded, adopting the name T-Bank.
