According to Arkham, these funds were <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/german-authorities-seize-nearly-50000-btc-from-pirates\">seized<\/a> in January from administrators of the pirate movie site Movie2k.<\/p>\n<p>Of the transferred amount, 2500 BTC were sent to another address, from which four transactions of 500 BTC each followed. The recipients in two of these transactions were the cryptocurrency exchanges Kraken and Bitstamp.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc1qq0l4jgg9rcm3puhhfwaz4c9t8hdee8hfz6738z.webp\" alt=\"bc1qq0l4jgg9rcm3puhhfwaz4c9t8hdee8hfz6738z\" class=\"wp-image-235219\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Data: Arkham.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The transfer of such a large amount of bitcoin to trading platforms for potential sale has raised concerns in the community about negative impacts on the cryptocurrency&#8217;s price.
