That summer, Sam Bankman-Fried&#8217;s company announced the launch of a local branch, renaming Liquid to FTX Japan K.K.<\/p>\n<p>In November, the division suspended withdrawals following FTX Group&#8217;s bankruptcy filing under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
