Initially rolling out on Arbitrum, it will gradually expand to other networks over time,\u201d the developers noted.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to them, the \u201ccross-chain expansion strategy\u201d also aims to reduce transaction fees. This approach is intended to make GHO more liquid and attractive to users, \u201copening up new use cases.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the decentralized stablecoin took place nearly a year ago, enabling the borrowing of assets against cryptocurrency collateral.<\/p>\n<p>The issuance of the coin is carried out by community-approved intermediaries known as \u201cfacilitators.\u201d The first of these was the Aave v3 market on Ethereum. <\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the <span data-descr=\"total value of assets locked in smart contracts of decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TVL<\/span> of the leading lending platform <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocols\/Lending\">exceeds $12.5 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Aave Labs <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aave-labs-unveils-roadmap-for-fourth-protocol-version\">unveiled<\/a> the roadmap for the fourth version of the protocol.
