The organization filed a lawsuit to prevent him from litigating against developers and other members of the crypto community, as well as claiming intellectual property rights over Bitcoin technology.<\/p>\n<p>In March, British judge James Mellor <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/court-rules-craig-wright-is-not-bitcoins-creator\">ruled<\/a> that Wright is not the creator of the first cryptocurrency or the author of the white paper.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOn 20 May 2024, the High Court of England and Wales found Dr Craig Steven Wright&#8217;s claims to be the person behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto (the creator of Bitcoin) to be dishonest,\u201d reads the text posted on the entrepreneur&#8217;s page.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the statement, Wright \u201cextensively and repeatedly lied to the court\u201d in his testimony and \u201cextensively\u201d forged documents to present as evidence:  <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBy promoting his false claim of being Satoshi through numerous lawsuits, Dr Wright committed \u2018the most serious abuse\u2019 of the procedural rules of the courts of the UK, Norway, and the USA.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Users on X noted that Wright&#8217;s publication of the court release on his page is not a personal admission of being a \u201cpseudo-Satoshi.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Wright has posted that the COURT found that he is not Satoshi. Wright is not personally saying that he is not Satoshi. There is a nuanced important distinction here. <\/p>\n<p>(I do not support Faketoshi.)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Anna Atlas (@AnnaAtlasBTC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AnnaAtlasBTC\/status\/1813353125073334747?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 16, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>However, the court ruling prohibits the businessman from initiating new proceedings based on \u201chis false claims\u201d or encouraging others to do so.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2020, Wright himself <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.news\/krejg-rajt-otkazalsya-ot-iska-k-adamu-beku-i-oplatil-ego-izderzhki\/\">withdrew<\/a> a defamation lawsuit against Blockstream CEO Adam Back and paid his costs. A similar decision was made by the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.news\/krejg-rajt-otkazalsya-ot-sudebnogo-iska-k-osnovatelyu-ethereum\/\">in the case against Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.<\/p>\n<p>Wright&#8217;s appeal in the defamation case against podcaster Peter McCormack was later <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/craig-wright-accused-of-perjury-by-court\">dismissed by the court<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2022, the businessman accused several crypto exchanges of trading \u201cfake\u201d Bitcoin.
