He shared this perspective during a conversation with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at the SIGGRAPH conference, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/mark-zuckerberg-predicts-ai-smart-glasses-popular-meta-ray-bans-2024-7\">Business Insider<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The entrepreneur noted the growing popularity of smart glasses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think eventually you\u2019ll have a whole range of glasses with different price points and levels of technology,\u201d Zuckerberg remarked.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He cited the product from Ray-Ban and Meta as an example. The parent company of Facebook released smart glasses in collaboration with the popular brand in 2021. Two years later, they announced the integration of an AI assistant for them.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI think AI glasses without a display priced around $300 will become a really big product that eventually tens or hundreds of millions of people will have. You\u2019ll get a super interactive AI that you can talk to,\u201d said the Meta CEO.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the conference, he highlighted the company&#8217;s work on the next generation of smart glasses, designed with current trends in mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe goal was: \u2018Okay, let\u2019s constrain the form factor to just look great and pack in as much technology as we can.\u2019 We understand there\u2019s no way to achieve perfection and fit everything we want into the gadget, but ultimately, these will be great-looking glasses,\u201d Zuckerberg shared.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Back in December 2022, <span data-descr=\"Chief Technology Officer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CTO<\/span> of Meta Andrew Bosworth stated that \u201cabout half\u201d of the operating expenses of the Reality Labs division are spent on augmented reality.
