[Since then] I haven\u2019t sold a single bitcoin, only continued to buy,\u201d he stated.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In October 2020, Saylor indeed reported holding 17,732 BTC, acquired at an average price of $9,882. In December 2021, he confirmed holding the same amount of the leading cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2024, when asked by a Bloomberg journalist about the current amount of bitcoin he holds, Saylor briefly replied: \u201cAt least as much.\u201d Thus, the MicroStrategy founder declined to disclose a more precise figure.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>\u201cIt\u2019s an excellent investment asset for an individual, family, institution, company, or country. I see no better investment option,\u201d Saylor declared.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also referred to digital gold as \u201cAmerica\u2019s supreme property\u201d in light of recent political events. Saylor noted Senator Cynthia Lummis\u2019s proposal to create a national bitcoin reserve.
