In May, the network <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aptos-processes-over-115-million-transactions-in-a-day-with-new-cat-clicker-game\">processed a record number of transactions<\/a> in a single day\u2014157 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to Aptos, for the week ending August 15, the average daily number of transactions was approximately 50 million, and the protocol&#8217;s peak throughput reached 12,492 <span data-descr=\"transactions per second\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TPS<\/span>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Another record-breaking week for Aptos ?
