Interest in cryptocurrencies ranked ninth in the list of “attractive” male hobbies from the perspective of women, according to a study by Date Psychology, as reported by Cointelegraph<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The survey found that women are more favorable towards partners watching anime, engaging in cosplay, or reading comics.<\/p>\n

Nearly a third of respondents found these activities interesting, whereas only 23.1% felt the same about cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n

Only collecting pop-culture and media-themed Bobblehead figures from Funko ranked lower in attractiveness than digital assets.<\/p>\n

The survey included 814 participants, 48% of whom were women. They were presented with a list of 74 hobbies to categorize as either “attractive” or “unattractive.”<\/p>\n

Video games, MTG<\/a>, arcade and war games, Dungeons & Dragons<\/a>, magic tricks, and stamp collecting received slightly fewer “unattractive” votes in this informal ranking.<\/p>\n

In a similar survey involving men, 13.7% of respondents considered cryptocurrency an attractive hobby in the eyes of women.<\/p>\n

The majority also categorized playing a musical instrument as attractive, aligning with the results of a similar study (95.4% of women’s responses). Respondents also highlighted reading (98.2%) and learning a foreign language (95.6%).<\/p>\n

The mentioned data can be found in a survey<\/a> conducted in April 2023 by Pew Research specialists. It included 10,701 American adults, of whom 5,936 were women.<\/p>\n

Only 10% of female participants in the study had ever traded, used, or invested in cryptocurrencies, compared to 25% of the men surveyed.<\/p>\n

Among those women who had used digital assets, nearly 40% reported no longer owning them, compared to about 30% of men with similar experiences.<\/p>\n
