The perpetrators criticized the industry, suggesting people &#8220;go outside&#8221; or explain why their favorite project is a scam.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"forklog\/39498\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The hackers did not post malicious links nor did they engage with followers.<\/p>\n<p>After regaining access, the NEAR Protocol team seized the opportunity to advertise the conference by including specific details in the incident report publication.<\/p>\n<p>Finbold editor Vini Barbosa saw the hack as an attempt to create buzz and promote the event. He is convinced that such actions damage the long-term reputation and credibility of Near and its account within the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cNo further statements from the team can be taken seriously. [\u2026] Near&#8217;s Discord was indeed hacked recently. People lost real money. [\u2026] We are all dealing with serious matters here,\u201d<\/em> he lamented.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Back in March, the project team <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/near-introduces-multichain-transactions-from-a-single-account\">introduced<\/a> Chain Signatures.
