This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/ai-alliance-expansion-new-member-community-vote\">Cointelegraph<\/a> citing a press release.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the integration will involve the merging of Cudos and FET tokens. <\/p>\n<p>At the end of March, three AI-focused blockchain projects \u2014 SingularityNet, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/singularitynet-fetch-ai-and-ocean-protocol-to-merge-tokens\">announced the formation of an alliance<\/a> to develop decentralized AI infrastructure. <\/p>\n<p>In April, they <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ai-blockchain-projects-unite-to-form-asi-token\">received community approval<\/a> to convert tokens into a single ASI coin. FET is currently in use, but the group continues to work on the transition. Progress is expected in the coming months, noted Fetch.ai CEO Humayun Sheikh. <\/p>\n<p>The addition of a fourth member &#8220;will add computational resources and utility to ASI,&#8221; emphasized Cudos CEO Matt Hawkins.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, the expansion of the alliance aims to increase its computational power, reduce reliance on centralized providers, and create a decentralized cloud infrastructure. <\/p>\n<p>Sheikh noted that decentralized operations are preferable because they &#8220;provide greater scalability, resilience, and security.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Distributing resources globally reduces dependence on a single provider, fostering innovation and democratizing access to AI technologies for a wide range of users,&#8221; he noted. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Back in July, developers of the AI platform SingularityNET and the data storage network Filecoin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/the-convergence-of-ai-and-cryptocurrency-miners-transition-to-data-centers-and-filecoin-partners-with-singularitynet\">announced a partnership<\/a> to merge the fields of artificial intelligence and DePIN while maintaining decentralization, ethical neural networks, and information reliability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From September 19-24, the community will vote on the inclusion of decentralized cloud computing provider Cudos into the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) alliance.
