The feature is a private 1:1 facial comparison.<\/p>\n<p>The tool is designed to enhance user security in &#8220;online shopping, financial transactions [and] app authorizations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The World App wallet&#8217;s user base has already reached 15 million globally; 6.7 million have verified their &#8220;identity&#8221; using orbs, according to the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Worldcoin is working on creating a global digital identification and financial network. The protocol verifies a user&#8217;s identity through iris scanning.<\/p>\n<p>Regulators in many countries have expressed concerns over such biometric data collection.
