Last year in Brazil, there was a significant surge in USDT usage, accounting for 80% of all crypto transactions in the country, according to data as of October 2023. The trailer cites a figure of 90%.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10 Years of USDT<\/h2>\n<p>On October 6, 2014, the first USDT tokens were issued on the Bitcoin blockchain using the Omni Layer protocol. Initially called Realcoin, a rebranding soon followed.
