Users will be able to trade them outside of Telegram.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"durov\/348\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>On October 5, Telegram <a href=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/blog\/gifts-verification-platform\/ru\">introduced<\/a> a new feature for sending gifts using stars (<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/pavel-durov-announces-launch-of-telegram-stars\">Telegram Stars<\/a>)\u2014the messenger&#8217;s internal currency. These gifts appear as animated images, with the option to add a message, such as a holiday greeting or a note for a significant event.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ec249a3bdd29d328b9-1.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The process of sending a gift. These stars enable various actions within Telegram: congratulating others, donating to channel owners, or paying for services in mini-apps.<\/p>\n<p>When sending a gift, there is an option to hide your name. In this case, the recipient will know who congratulated them, but other users will not.<\/p>\n<p>Developers can withdraw their stars through the Fragment platform using TON.<\/p>\n<p>Back in April, during the Token2049 conference, Durov <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/telegram-to-reward-content-creators-with-toncoin\">announced<\/a> the possibility of purchasing digital goods with cryptocurrency on Telegram.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pavel Durov has announced the conversion of a limited number of gifts into NFTs on the TON blockchain later this year.
