The Solana project SonicX has introduced a Tap-to-Earn<\/span> game on TikTok, aiming to become the “Notcoin” of the short video platform, reports Decrypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game is built on the gaming-focused L2 solution Sonic SVM.<\/p>\n

Developers plan to collaborate with content creators and launch a series of clickable ads on the short video platform, allowing users to access SonicX directly within the social network.<\/p>\n

Similar to mini-apps in Telegram, TikTok enables the opening of web pages in its native browser. Users can earn in-game points by tapping the screen, purchase upgrades to enhance their gaming accounts, and invite friends. All activities will influence a future airdrop.<\/p>\n

The game world is inspired by the classic Sonic The Hedgehog video game series, though it has no official connection with Sega.<\/p>\n

Each tap in the game will be recorded on the blockchain. A similar mechanism is used in the Aptos-based “tap game” Tapos. Over three days, the network processed<\/a> 323,477,428 transactions, with 83% attributed to the game.<\/p>\n
