Over the past month, the number of TON followers has been increasing by 500,000 daily. In such a case, the aforementioned event would occur in early February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The expert also noted that the number of ETH holders is growing, albeit at barely noticeable rates, but \u201ccapable of affecting the projected dates.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>\u201cIt is only a matter of time before TON holders outnumber ETH holders,\u201d maartunn emphasized.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the time of writing, TON ranks 11th on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/\">CoinGecko<\/a> with a market capitalization of $12.7 billion; Ethereum&#8217;s stands at $315.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chains\">DeFiLlama<\/a>, <span data-descr=\"total value locked in decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TVL<\/span> in The Open Network ecosystem amounts to $389 million.
