{"id":18268,"date":"2024-11-01T18:01:38","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T16:01:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ton-foundation-introduces-dao-to-decentralize-ecosystem-governance\/"},"modified":"2024-11-01T18:01:38","modified_gmt":"2024-11-01T16:01:38","slug":"ton-foundation-introduces-dao-to-decentralize-ecosystem-governance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ton-foundation-introduces-dao-to-decentralize-ecosystem-governance\/","title":{"rendered":"TON Foundation Introduces DAO to Decentralize Ecosystem Governance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The TON Foundation, the organization behind The Open Network (TON), has <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ton.org\/ton-s-path-to-decentralization-the-evolution-of-the-governance-model\">unveiled<\/a> a new governance model, Society DAO.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aims to further decentralize, enhance transparency, inclusivity, autonomy, and competition.<\/p>\n<p>The decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) was founded by teams including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TON Core \u2014 responsible for blockchain development, updates, and maintenance;<\/li>\n<li>TON Studio \u2014 supporting project developers;<\/li>\n<li>TON Society \u2014 managing community relations;<\/li>\n<li>Telegram Wallet \u2014 facilitating payment acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe Foundation will support the DAO by reporting on its goals, KPIs, and strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing grants and other resources,\u201d the announcement stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The organization aims to position TON as a gateway for real-world cryptocurrency use cases and to develop a community of developers and users.<\/p>\n<p>By early 2025, Society DAO is expected to publish its key objectives and anticipated outcomes.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe DAO will expand to include verified and reputable teams capable of proposing and implementing plans that support the ecosystem&#8217;s goals.
