The transactions were recorded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/platform.arkhamintelligence.com\/explorer\/entity\/mt-gox\">Arkham<\/a> service.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 32,371 BTC was sent to the address &#8220;1FG2C\u2026Rveoy&#8221;, while 2000 BTC was transferred to an unmarked wallet &#8220;15gNR\u2026a8Aok&#8221;.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-1277.webp\" alt=\"1-1277\" class=\"wp-image-244479\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Data: Arkham.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This operation is the largest in recent months, following a transfer of 500 BTC on November 1. Previous transactions were recorded at the end of September.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Mt.Gox <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mt-gox-transfers-over-9-billion-in-bitcoin\">began moving<\/a> its assets for the first time in five years, which were then valued at 137,892 BTC, or $9.35 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the exchange&#8217;s trustee started compensating users through authorized platforms. By the end of the month, Kraken and Bitstamp <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kraken-and-bitstamp-report-on-mt-gox-asset-distribution\">reported<\/a> receiving and distributing assets.<\/p>\n<p>However, ForkLog discovered that the compensation process is not proceeding smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>According to Arkham, on August 21, Mt.Gox sent 1,264.7 BTC ($75.36 million) to Bitstamp.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, Kraken <a href=\"https:\/\/platform.arkhamintelligence.com\/explorer\/tx\/9c6e542a8e1228a01aab77e9244d413583be1e85c31d79ff7218aadedc10d2e5\">returned<\/a> 127.6 BTC ($8.07 million) to the platform on September 24.<\/p>\n<p>The last significant transfer to an unmarked address was recorded on August 20.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, Arkham analysts recognized the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mt-gox-transfers-784-million-in-bitcoin\">movement of 13,265 BTC<\/a> ($784 million) as an asset distribution between Mt.Gox&#8217;s storage facilities.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the exchange&#8217;s wallets hold 44,378 BTC, valued at $3.05 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The management of Mt.Gox has postponed the deadline for compensation payments to October 31, 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Mt.Gox has transferred 34,371 BTC (approximately $2.3 billion) to two unknown wallets.
