The marketplace is preparing the update amid a decline in overall NFT sales volume to its lowest level since 2021, according to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/data\/nft-non-fungible-tokens\/marketplaces\">The Block Data Dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/data\/nft-non-fungible-tokens\/marketplaces\/nft-marketplace-monthly-volume\/embed\" title=\"Ethereum NFT Marketplace Monthly Volume\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to statistics, in January 2024, monthly trading volumes of Ethereum-based non-fungible tokens reached $868 million, before falling to $300 million in June and then to $136 million in October.<\/p>\n<p>A year ago, OpenSea underwent optimization, reducing its staff by 50%.
