At the time of writing, the price had settled back to $19.7, marking a 0.5% decrease over the past 24 hours, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/ethereum-name-service\">CoinGecko<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-1286.webp\" alt=\"1-1286\" class=\"wp-image-244897\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Hourly chart of ENS\/USDT on Binance. Data: <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.tradingview.com\/symbols\/ENSUSDT\/\">TradingView<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWith ENSv2 and Namechain, it will become significantly easier to register names, update records, manage decentralized websites, and much more,\u201d<\/em> explained Greg Skril, Head of Developer Relations at ENS Labs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Team member Jeff Lau clarified that the .eth domain will remain &#8220;tied&#8221; to the mainnet, while ENS will gain support for other Ethereum Layer 2 solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to create a user-friendly interface rather than integrate its solution into another blockchain, Lau noted.<\/p>\n<p>In February, ENS Labs <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ens-developers-to-expand-service-to-layer-2-networks\">announced<\/a> the expansion of its service to Layer 2 protocols as part of a new update.<\/p>\n<p>In February, the largest DEX, Uniswap, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uniswap-introduces-ens-based-subdomains\">introduced<\/a> uni.eth subdomains based on ENS infrastructure.
