It remains unclear whether these operations are part of future distributions to creditors.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the exchange sent 34,371 BTC (~$2.3 billion) to two unknown wallets. This operation was the largest in recent months, following a transfer of 500 BTC on November 1. Earlier transactions were recorded at the end of September.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Mt.Gox <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mt-gox-transfers-over-9-billion-in-bitcoin\">began moving<\/a> its holdings for the first time in five years, which at that time amounted to 137,892 BTC valued at $9.35 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the exchange&#8217;s trustee began compensating users through authorized platforms.
