{"id":18583,"date":"2024-11-14T14:04:07","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T12:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ethereum-developers-unveil-smart-transactions\/"},"modified":"2024-11-14T14:04:07","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T12:04:07","slug":"ethereum-developers-unveil-smart-transactions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ethereum-developers-unveil-smart-transactions\/","title":{"rendered":"Ethereum Developers Unveil &#8216;Smart Transactions&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ethereum developers Vlad Zamfir, Anuja Dasa Gupta, and Boris Mamlyuk have introduced the concept of &#8216;smart transactions,&#8217; advancing the realization of the &#8216;World Computer.&#8217; This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/326400\/ethereum-researchers-unveil-smart-transactions-to-make-the-world-computer-a-reality\">The Block<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Transactions (STXN) will significantly expand the range of applications and protocols that can be created through a more dynamic set of features.<\/p>\n<p>This will be possible thanks to smart contracts that execute based on uncertain future events.<\/p>\n<p>These events could include, for example, tokens reaching a certain value threshold or market capitalization, as well as more &#8216;relative&#8217; parameters, such as whether one asset is worth more than another.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the startup partnered with ConsenSys, which funded further research into STXN, complementing the Smart Transactions feature introduced in May.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We are working on the infrastructure for creating hybrid <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span> that are partly cryptocurrencies and partly, for example, <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%92%D0%B5%D0%B1_2.0\"><em>Web2<\/em><\/a><em> applications.
