The market value of the company&#8217;s cryptocurrency holdings is approximately $29.7 billion, while MicroStrategy&#8217;s market capitalization stands at $69.6 billion (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/market-activity\/stocks\/mstr\">Nasdaq<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>According to the firm&#8217;s report, from October 1 to November 17, the yield on Bitcoin reserves reached 20%, and since the beginning of the year, the figure has approached 42%.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in November, MicroStrategy announced the acquisition of a previous batch of 27,200 BTC for $2.03 billion.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MARA Secures $700 Million for Bitcoin Purchases<\/h2>\n<p>The largest publicly traded mining company, MARA (formerly Marathon Digital), has closed a private placement of senior convertible notes amounting to $700 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today, we announced a proposed private offering of $700 million of convertible senior notes.\u2070\u2070Proceeds to be used primarily to acquire bitcoin, repurchase existing convertible notes due in 2026, and for general corporate purposes. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0vg7ri8BDX\">https:\/\/t.co\/0vg7ri8BDX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 MARA (@MARAHoldings) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MARAHoldings\/status\/1858495604193653037?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 18, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The funds will primarily be used to purchase Bitcoin, as well as to repay previously issued corporate bonds and for general corporate purposes.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcointreasuries.net\/\">BitcoinTreasuries<\/a>, the firm holds 27,562 BTC (approximately $2.47 billion), partially mined independently and additionally acquired.<\/p>\n<p>Back in July, the company invested <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/marathon-digital-expands-bitcoin-holdings-with-100-million-purchase\">$100 million<\/a> in the leading cryptocurrency, bringing its reserves to 20,000 BTC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, MARA <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mara-to-raise-250-million-for-bitcoin-acquisition\">raised $250 million<\/a> through the issuance of convertible bonds.
