Visit our Patient Registry to learn more and apply.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5BySJABkkO\">https:\/\/t.co\/5BySJABkkO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Neuralink (@neuralink) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/neuralink\/status\/1859321866944401727?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 20, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>One of Canada&#8217;s largest research and medical centres, University Health Network (UHN), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newswire.ca\/news-releases\/uhn-selected-as-canadian-site-for-can-prime-study-a-clinical-trial-involving-neuralink-implant-for-patients-living-with-cervical-spinal-cord-injury-and-amyotrophic-lateral-sclerosis-als--885980462.html\">announced<\/a> that its Toronto Western Hospital will be the first outside the United States to implant Neuralink&#8217;s wireless brain-computer interface (<span data-descr=\"Brain-Computer Interface\" class=\"old_tooltip\">BCI<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>The institution conducts research in neurology, psychiatry, genetics, and other medical disciplines, developing new treatments and technologies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this research progress in neurosurgery.
