It looks in particular at solutions from <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/algosone.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AlgosOne<\/a>\u2014a company developing an AI bot for users with no experience of trading on crypto or traditional financial markets.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The role of trading bots in crypto trading<\/h2>\n<p>For more autonomous trading, AI bots such as <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/algosone.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AlgosOne<\/a> fit the bill. They use proprietary machine-learning algorithms and offer several benefits.<\/p>\n<p>On the bitcoin market, trading bots appeared in its formative years. A 2018 study attributed the sharp rise in the price of the digital gold on Mt.Gox in 2013 to the Willy and Markus bots. During sharp price swings, bots feel no emotions and do not deviate from a set strategy;<\/li>\n<li><strong>around-the-clock trading.<\/strong> Unlike <span data-descr=\"traditional finance\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TradFi<\/span>, cryptocurrencies trade without weekends. Bots do not sleep and can seize opportunities at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As the crypto industry developed, trading algorithms became more sophisticated. They evolved from simple automation based on technical indicators such as <span data-descr=\"relative strength index\" class=\"old_tooltip\">RSI<\/span> to gathering and analysing off-chain and on-chain data, and adjusting strategies in real time using AI.<\/p>\n<p>Bots learned to gauge market sentiment based on news and social-media posts. As DeFi grew, they were deployed actively on <span data-descr=\"decentralized exchange\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DEX<\/span>es and to capture <span data-descr=\"maximal extractable value\" class=\"old_tooltip\">MEV<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make money with trading bots<\/h2>\n<p>Bots can be configured to buy or sell gradually in small tranches (DCA), profit from price discrepancies for the same instrument across venues (arbitrage), or build a large position without materially moving the market (Time Weighted Average Price, TWAP). However, we will soon present our new model, which can deliver stable profits within shorter 30\u2011day plans,\u201d the project\u2019s representatives comment.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>AI trading also has drawbacks:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>lack of transparency.<\/strong> Machine-learning bots are <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/god-or-golem-why-ai-inspires-religious-awe\">\u201cblack boxes\u201d<\/a>\u2014often a trader cannot pinpoint exactly what is happening inside or why the bot made a given decision;<\/li>\n<li><strong>dependence on data.<\/strong> Erroneous or stale information can lead to poor decisions and, consequently, losses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The AlgosOne team regularly monitors and evaluates the performance of its AI bots to fix errors promptly and minimise risks.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cOur bots constantly learn and improve. They trade without emotion and often make more measured decisions than humans.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, AI trading is a dynamic process that does not always guarantee profits.
