This is according to a report by JPMorgan, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2024\/12\/13\/miners-are-adopting-the-same-bitcoin-acquisition-strategy-as-micro-strategy-jp-morgan\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To finance operational costs, firms are issuing bonds and stocks, opting not to sell mined coins. This shift is due to pressure on profitability following the halving and increased hash rate.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;This has prompted them to conserve funds or seek further investments in digital gold or diversify<\/em> <em>into AI\/HPC sectors,&#8221;<\/em> the report states.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Experts have calculated that since January, miners have raised over $10 billion, surpassing the previous high of $9.5 billion in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>JPMorgan noted that MARA has implemented a bitcoin strategy. Previously, shares of mining companies served similar purposes.
