This reduced operational costs and the specifications for necessary equipment. Previously, validators had to stake at least 2000 AVAX (~$100,000).<\/p>\n<p>ACP-77 reduced the base fee on the C-Chain from 25 nAVAX to 1 nAVAX (~$0.00000004), which \u201cwill lead to more efficient resource allocation and potentially higher network load.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of the update did not affect AVAX&#8217;s dynamics. Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/\"> decreased by 2.1%, to $49.04.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The all-time high price was recorded at $144.9 in November 2021, 13 months after the mainnet launch.<\/p>\n<p><span data-descr=\"total value locked\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TVL<\/span> of the Avalanche ecosystem<a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chains\"> stands at $1.6 billion<\/a>.
