The neural network will handle some administrative tasks, freeing scientists for more critical research;<\/li>\n<li>integration into industrial production \u2014 Siemens, in partnership with the major German industrial group Thyssenkrupp and Microsoft, is implementing AI solutions to address the shortage of skilled labor;<\/li>\n<li>the virtual guide Julia in Rome \u2014 set to assist 35 million tourists in 2025 in exploring the city and reducing congestion near popular sites;<\/li>\n<li>teachers in Indian schools have started to create lesson plans more efficiently with AI, reducing preparation time from an hour to a few minutes;<\/li>\n<li>preserving the health of fish and shrimp in Indonesia \u2014 farmers use an AI-based assistant to obtain information on water quality, plankton conditions, and market prices;<\/li>\n<li>optimizing student registration processes at Eduvos \u2014 the South African organization has reduced the procedure time from 90 days to a few minutes;<\/li>\n<li>combating deforestation \u2014 the Guacamaya project uses satellite images and AI models for rapid decision-making;<\/li>\n<li>promoting self-care \u2014 Brazilian startup RadarFit uses gamification to encourage healthy habits;<\/li>\n<li>education \u2014 online tutoring pioneer Khan Academy has offered AI tools to millions of educators, saving time and improving lesson quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previously, Microsoft and Google planned to &#8220;green&#8221; the energy acquisition process and cooling systems for data centers powering artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>Back in December, Microsoft taught the AI assistant Copilot to understand contextual information from the computer screen during internet surfing.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft showcased nine examples of the rapid development and application of artificial intelligence in 2024.
