Excited to announce the collaboration between World Liberty Financial (WLFI) and Ethena Labs! ???<\/p>\n<p>First step: exploring sUSDe integration into WLFI\u2019s lending platform, bringing new opportunities for DeFi users worldwide.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HvGDHcJTXW\">https:\/\/t.co\/HvGDHcJTXW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 WLFI (@worldlibertyfi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/worldlibertyfi\/status\/1869454093015760977?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 18, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>One of the initial collaborative steps will be the integration of the <span data-descr=\"Ethena Staked USDe \u2014 a 'synthetic dollar' protocol on Ethereum\" class=\"old_tooltip\">sUSDe<\/span> token as a collateral asset for WLFI in Aave v3.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe integration will also help increase stablecoin deposits in WLFI, driven by the popularity of sUSDe as a collateral asset for lending coins like USDC and USDT,\u201d the partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/331436\/trump-backed-world-liberty-financial-and-ethena-eye-collaboration-starting-with-susde-implementation\">stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Developers at Ethena Labs have submitted a relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/governance.worldlibertyfinancial.com\/t\/proposal-to-onboard-susde-to-world-liberty-financial-aave-instance\/2039\">proposal<\/a> for consideration by the World Liberty Financial community. The integration of sUSDe also depends on the outcome of a vote regarding the launch of the WLFI protocol in Aave.<\/p>\n<p>The vote on adding sUSDe is planned to be held by December 22. Even if approval is not granted, the partners have promised to continue exploring collaboration opportunities and find integration points.<\/p>\n<p>On December 9, WLFI purchased approximately $500,000 in ENA \u2014 Ethena tokens. At the time of writing, its balance <a href=\"https:\/\/dropstab.com\/p\/world-liberty-financial-holdings-m574rtlqs8\">includes<\/a> $69.5 million in ETH, cbBTC, AAVE, and other assets.<\/p>\n<p>According to company co-founder Chase Herro, the purchase is unrelated to the partnership agreement but illustrates \u201cfaith in the long-term viability and success of the Ethena network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1869644212347765131\">Lookonchain<\/a>, between December 17 and 19, an unnamed whale created a new wallet and purchased 8 million ENA tokens for $9.2 million. Experts speculated that the user \u201cfollowed WLFI\u2019s lead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Trump sons presented the World Liberty Financial project in September 2024.
