Part of the payment will be made in the leading cryptocurrency via the Strike app. In similar cases, other football players <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/highest-paid-college-athletes-nil-deals-valuations\">have received<\/a> up to $4.7 million.<\/p>\n<p>Such <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Student_athlete_compensation\">NIL deals<\/a> are a standard practice in college sports in the United States, providing athletes with compensation beyond scholarships. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This is a turning point for me.
