However, we will not tolerate fraud. This extradition demonstrates our unwavering commitment to international justice and the rule of law,\u201d stated the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Kwon was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/montenegro-says-it-extradites-terraform-lab-co-founder-us-2024-12-31\/\">handed over<\/a> to the &#8220;competent US law enforcement authorities and FBI agents&#8221; at the airport in Podgorica.<\/p>\n<p>On December 27, Montenegro&#8217;s Minister of Justice Bojan Bo\u017eovi\u0107 approved the transfer of the Terra founder to the US authorities. The decision concluded a series of proceedings between local courts and Kwon&#8217;s lawyers that had been ongoing since spring 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Since March 2024, the Terra founder had been <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/montenegro-to-release-do-kwon-amid-extradition-deliberations\">held<\/a> in a migration center awaiting resolution of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>In late December, Richard Heart, known for projects HEX, PulseChain, and PulseX, was placed on an international wanted list for alleged tax evasion and assault.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 31, Montenegro completed the extradition of Terra founder Do Kwon to the United States.
