Its chair, Tim Scott, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-senator-declares-cryptocurrencies-the-new-wonder-of-the-world\">oversaw<\/a> the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>His predecessor, crypto-sceptic Sherrod Brown, is not part of the new line-up. Senator Elizabeth Warren will remain a leading critic.<\/p>\n<p>In the House, French Hill <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-advocate-french-hill-to-lead-us-house-financial-services-committee\">became<\/a> chair of the Financial Services Committee.<\/p>\n<p>His predecessor Patrick McHenry left the post at the end of 2024. He played a key role in advancing the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-senate-receives-revised-stablecoin-bill\">payments stablecoin bill<\/a> and the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21).<\/p>\n<p>Hill led the group focused on digital assets.
