It was used to advertise a fake memecoin. The team regained control of the account and apologised for the incident.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Litecoin&#8217;s X account was briefly compromised today and posts that were not authorized were published. These were live only for a matter of seconds before being deleted. We are still investigating the issue, but immediately found a compromised account and removed it,&#8221; they wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Foresight Ventures\u2019 X account with 28,000 followers was also hacked to announce tokens.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We regret to inform you that Foresight Ventures&#8217; account has been compromised by hackers in the past 12 hours.
